From premium commuter electric scooters to fast-paced street naked bikes and even mile-munching adventure motorcycles, this month is expected to be great for enthusiasts. Here are all the bikes and scooters launching in May 2025:
Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z
India’s most affordable 400cc motorcycle, the Pulsar NS400Z, is all set to receive an update for 2025. This upcoming motorcycle has arrived at dealerships and features wider and stickier rubber and sintered brake pads, replacing the organic ones on the 2024 model. The motorcycle is expected to receive a price hike of Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 over its current ex-showroom price, which is Rs 1,81,318.
While the Pulsar NS400Z had a lot of power, it was a bit weak in the handling department, so the updates made to the 2025 model should be able to address most of its shortcomings.
Vida Z 2025 Model
The only EV on this list, the Vida Z, is a family scooter that is expected to be similar to its sporty-looking sibling the Vida V2. The Vida Z has also been spotted testing in India and it breaks away from the aggressive styling of the Vida V2 and adopts a more family-friendly approach. With a longer seat and revised body panels, the Vida Z is expected to be priced around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
Triumph Scrambler 400 XC
The Triumph Scrambler 400 XC is a more hardcore version of the Scrambler 400 X that was spotted testing a while back and is expected to be launched in India in May 2025. The Scrambler 400 XC gets cross-spoke tubeless wheels instead of the alloys on the regular version. The bike has also been spotted with a new yellow paint scheme, which we think looks pretty good. The Scrambler 400 XC is expected to be priced around Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 more than the regular version’s ex-showroom price.
Bajaj Dominar 400 And 250
The 2025 Dominar 400 and 250 have arrived at Bajaj dealerships and are expected to be launched this month. The new Dominar now features an updated LCD console, similar to the Pulsar NS400Z, with ride modes (on the Dominar 400), ABS mode (on the Dominar 250) and traction control (on both bikes) as standard. The 2025 version is expected to see a marginal price hike of around Rs 7,000 over the current ex-showroom price. The Dominar range has been more or less the same for quite some time now, so now with the practical updates, they should be more attractive than ever.
Kawasaki Z900
India’s best-selling big bike has received a major update as Kawasaki recently filed a design patent for the 2025 Z900 in India and it is expected to be launched this month. The 2025 Kawasaki Z900 gets a revised front-end in the form of a new headlight design, more features and a new taillight. The new and updated Z900 is expected to be priced around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom), making it more affordable than its rival Triumph Street Triple in India.
Benelli TRK 502
The Benelli TRK 502 has been one of the most popular bikes from the brand, and it has been a while since it received a major update. However, that is about to change as the 2025 version is going to be launched today. The TRK 502 is known for its massive size and road presence. For 2025, the manufacturer has decided to make it more feature-rich than before. Key highlights include a TFT display and cross-spoke tubeless wheels. This will be around Rs 40,000 more than the ex-showroom price of the 2024 model, which starts at Rs 5.85 lakh.
Yezdi Adventure
Yezdi is set to launch the 2025 Adventure in India on May 15. The bike was spotted testing a few days ago and looks unchanged. The update on the 2025 could be aimed at making the bike compliant with the latest OBD-2B emission norms and possibly internally tune the powertrain for a better overall riding experience.
